Committee for Senior Events

About Us
The Committee for Senior Events develops ways to further meet the needs of our growing senior population, respecting them and recognizing the continued value of their wisdom and experience.  This is done in the following 3 ways:

1. Senior Spotlight: the Group collects information of interest to seniors for this Church bulletin section.  This includes useful phone numbers, announcements, available services, social events, etc. (Led by Diana Vita Leavy)
2. Senior Companionship: the Group arranges social visits with seniors by pairing volunteers to visit those in need of company/conversation. (Led by Rae Bauemeister)
3. Parish Youth Partnership: the Group coordinates with OLH teachers or others working with the younger grades to have children make holiday/greeting  cards to be given to seniors. (Led by Mary Davide)
